Florida’s flood disclosure law

Florida Statutes s. 689.302, effective October 1, 2024, requires a seller of residential property to disclose, at or before contract, whether they know of flood damage to the property, whether they filed a flood insurance claim (including with the NFIP) and whether they received federal flood assistance.
