Privacy and your requests

What is collected

When you continue from an address or question field, we save the text you submit and the page it came from to understand demand. Sending the email step also saves your email, the optional purchase-stage answer and your request in our private inbox. Please avoid including sensitive personal information. We may contact you about the request; this is not a newsletter subscription.

Flood-zone lookups

When you use a flood-zone lookup, our server sends the address to the US Census Bureau geocoder and the resulting coordinates to Esri’s hosted copy of FEMA’s National Flood Hazard Layer. We do not store the address you look up. We record only the resulting zone and state as an interaction count.

Interaction measurement

We record page views, the first page of a visit, engagement (time on page or scrolling), form starts, submitted entries, link and button clicks, tool use and downloads on our own server. To connect actions within a visit, the page keeps a random identifier in your browser tab’s session storage; it is deleted when the tab closes and is not a cookie. We store page paths, the referring website’s origin and campaign tags when present. We do not use analytics cookies, persistent visitor identifiers, third-party advertising pixels or session replay. Counts measure visits and interactions, not unique people.

Use, access and retention

We use requests to respond to you and to evaluate which features buyers need. We use aggregate interactions to improve the site and measure demand. Requests are available only through the protected admin inbox. The hosting provider processes server data to run the site. Request and interaction records are automatically deleted after 180 days. Hosting access logs may contain technical connection information and are kept for up to 30 days; the application does not store raw IP addresses in its request or event database.

Your choices

To request access, correction or deletion, email us from the address used for your request. You may raise a privacy concern with the relevant supervisory authority.
